Underwood Champion

Well I finally won something. For the low price of $32.83 I am now the proud owner of a Underwood Champion. I don't currently have many details but it looks like its in good condidion. Ill give you guys an update when it arrives.

Typewriter Search Failing Miserbly

Well ive bid for about 12 typewriters so far and been out bet on all of them. One time I even lost the auction within 3 minutes. I really would like a manual typewriter, I still have standards fortunetly. It has to be a manual typewriter, it has to be able to write multiple novels without a trip to the repairman, and it has to be aestheically pleasing. I have a feeling that I will find the perfect match within the month. Its right around the corner, I can tell.

Everest K-2, Yeah Right

30 minutes after my last post, someone out bid me. But I am determened to get a manual typewriter so I will persevere. I just bid on a early 50's Royal Quite De Luxe that lookes like it is in very good condition, just needs a little cleaning. I gave my self a maxium of $30, which means that I can only bid $15 because of shipping. The only reason I bid $30 on the Everest was because the store that was selling it was close by, so I could have picked it up in store insead of having it shipped to me. I hope that no one wants that Royal.

Everest K-2

I just bid on a Everest K-2 on shopgoodwill.com for a maximum of $30. Im hoping that no one wants a typewriter where the basket cover dosen't fit right. I'm also hoping that the malajusted basket cover is fixible. If it isint I possibly just spent $30 on a typewriter that supposedly types well but looks afwul. But i'm hoping that it was money well spent.

Spring Break

As spring break officially draws to a close I have the unmistakable feeling of regret. Regret that I didn't do all that I wanted to do during the week. Regret that I didn't spend more time with my friends. Instead I spent my week indoors even though the sun was calling my name. I went out side 2 times during the 11 day's that I had off of school. Despite all of this I still had a good time during those 2 day's that I did spend in the sun. If I can have this much fun in 2 days, imagine 2 months.
Summer here we come.

And the decision is...

After some thought ive decided that i'm going to write about whatever I want. Although im mostly going to talk about typewriters, writing, longboarding, and wonderful Washington! I still want to do a typecast blog, I just need to buy some ribbon for my typewriter. I might do a blog focused on one subject in the future but for now I just want to write and let people see my work.

Whats is this blog about?

I finally got everything working on Blogger so I thought I would tell you what to expect on future posts. I decided before I made LISS that I didn't want a normal blog so i'm going to try typecasting but at the moment my only typewriter, a Smith- Corona Coronet Super 12 Electric, is out of ribbon so when I get money im going to order some more ribbon and start typecasting. I think I might write about typewriters, longboarding, or I might make this a personal blog. I havint decided. So if you don't want to hear about typewriters, longboarding, or my life dont continue reading, but if you do youll know what this blog is about by my next post.

P.S.S. To all who know all about typewriters, I know that electrics suck, I would like to accuire a manual in the future but first I need to spend money on other things including a new ribbon for my current typewriter. Besides it's my first typewriter, so give me a break. If you want to hear the story of how I found my SCM and why I bought it, tell me in the comments.

Mobile Blogging, Not the Best

Sense I'm new to Blogger I thought I would test the mobile blogging feature!

Edit: I went to see how it looked online and realized that there wasn't a title so I added one. It's a convenient  feature when I don't have access to a computer or the internet but it could be improved some.
